I just mailed out a petition to Hawaii yesterday

My name is Johnny Chandler, i'm currently a rural carrier and a union dues paying member of he Yadkin River district of NRLCA. Myself and my wife work almost every night printing, addressing, and mailing out (on average) from 50 to 100 petitions a day. This is a non profit because we buy the paper, envelopes, ink and postage with my own money. We have received a few donations and for that we are thankful. Any donation will help Fuel the movement!

Frequently asked questions.
1. How many signatures can I put on this paper petition?
AS MANY AS YOU CAN, FILL THE PAGE UP WITH SIGNATURES.
DATE BESIDE EACH SIGNATURE.
2. What union will be on the ballot in 2025? Teamsters
3. What’s the difference between this petition and the vote next year?
Someone can’t simply call the department of labor relations and call for a vote.
We need a “show of interest” which will be signatures from at least 30% of union members
roughly 39,000! We have a time crunch though because once they get enough signatures they
will call for a vote early next year. You have until December 28th to mail your signed petition.
4. Who can sign the petition?
Any and all rural carriers can sign even non dues paying members can sign..
RCA’s and PTF’s can also sign.
5. I don’t want anyone knowing I signed.
You can simply sign just your name on the petition and date beside your name and mail it in.
All signatures will be kept private. NRLCA HAS ZERO ACCESS TO THIS PETITION.
6. What do I write and what’s the address?
I do not wish to be represented for purposes of collective bargaining by the National
Rural Letter Carriers' Association Union. (sign date and return to)
P.O. Box 241
Southmont NC 27351
7. How do I get a petition?
A. Text or message us an address and I will mail a blank one to you. 336-239-1651
B. Send an email address and I’ll email a blank petition to sign date and return.
Will the union represent me this year if I sign this? YES.
You’re signing that you do not want the NRLCA to represent us IN FUTURE CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS..
9. How many signatures can I put on a petition?
AS MANY AS YOU CAN. FILL THE PAGE WITH SIGNATURES!
MAKE SURE TO DATE BESIDE EACH SIGNATURE
Who are you and what do you have to gain?
Jonathan Chandler, rural carrier in Lexington, N.C. And still a current NRLCA dues paying
member of 16 years. I served as local steward for a year and resigned as steward when I
noticed we got minimal support from our area and district reps. They constantly tried talking us
out of going through with grievances but we did anyway and won 99% of them.
Maybe NRLCA will do a 180 by next year and we will all be happy rural carriers BUT if they do
nothing guess what........ We’re stuck with a failed union for another failed contract! Help make
the movement happen. We are at rock bottom and nowhere to go but up!
