All unions we’ve contacted are against raiding another union so as of today we need to switch gears. "De-clutter NRLCA". My 2 beefs are….. 1. Lack of communication and representation from stewards. 2. Stewards siding with management. Stop decertifying stewards that spread valuable information. Knowledge is power and I believe if misinformed carriers knew their rights they’d be more likely to join and support the union. My area steward told me years ago in our steward certification class that the union HAD to represent all carriers, and that if they didn’t the NLRB would be making phone calls to NRLCA. Why hide shit behind a password on your website? Why do you block concerned carriers from commenting on your posts? When a carrier says “I want a better union” stop asking them to step up without paying them. They pay union dues for a reason, so they’ll be represented. Not all carriers can attend meetings. Followed by North Carolina then Florida.
